On Wednesday, 18th March 2026, the Odorkor Zone of GESTA—the home zone of our National President—donated a 32″ JVC Television and a desktop computer set worth GH₵ 2,500.00, and GH₵ 1,000.00 in cash to support the setup of the National Office.
Presenting the items at the head office, the Zonal Chairman, Mr. Kwaku Nkrumah, stated that the donation was in response to the National Executive’s appeal for regions and districts/zones to assist with the office setup. He reaffirmed the zone’s commitment to providing continuous support to the National Secretariat to help realize its goals.
The General Secretary, receiving the items on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), thanked the Odorkor Zone for their timely contribution, noting that the equipment would significantly enhance national administrative operations. He assured the donors that the items would be put to good use and urged other regions, districts, zones, and individuals to emulate Odorkor’s example.
In his remarks, the National Financial Secretary reminded members that the one-year rent advance for the office is due to expire in a few months. He urged all members to settle their national and regional dues by 31st March 2026.
Closing the event, the President called on the entire GESTA fraternity to support upcoming national programs, specifically the 2026 Congress and the “Assembling of TVs & Sale of Parts” initiative.
